The harvesting time of this date starts in August and continues until October. the average fruit harvest of each mazafati palm is 100 to 120 kg. The average harvest of this type of date from each hectare is about 18 tons, which is one of the most productive dates in Iran.

This date is widely cultivated in the southeastern and central regions of Iran. Kerman province has the largest production of dates in Iran, and in addition to the fact that Kerman province has the largest production of dates, it has the best geographical location for growing these dates in terms of weather conditions. Bam City in Kerman province produces the best and most famous mazafati dates in Iran. Other producing cities include Jiroft and Saravan. In terms of cultivated area, this date has the largest area among dates in Iran.

The biggest importers of these dates are European countries, Russia, East Asian countries, and Arab countries.
